Sharana is an NGO registered in Pondicherry, South India in July 2000. Sharana is an organisation driven and inspired by intervention and change that are vital ground work for meaningful development. Through our Community Development programs our focus is to create environments, spaces and infrastructure that cater to basics such as a drop-in centre. As circumstances and community needs dictate, programs have been rolled back or rolled out and developed. And Sharana continues to grow – both according to its own original mission and vision for a better future, as well as according to the directions indicated by local communities.
